LINKIN PARK PROJEKT REVOLUTION TICKET SWEEPSTAKES 2004 OFFICIAL RULES THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED ONLY FOR PERSONS 13 OR OLDER WHO ARE RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES (EXCEPT PUERTO RICO) AND ARE LOCATED IN THEIR STATES OF RESIDENCE AT TIME OF ENTRY. TO ENTER: Beginning July 16, 2004 at 5:00:00 p.m. PST through August 29, 2004 at 11:59:59 p.m. PST (the "Sweepstakes Period"), log on to www.prsampler.com/ticketsweepstakes.php (the "Site"), complete an entry form (hereafter referred to as an "Entry" or collectively, "Entries") to enter the sweepstakes. Be sure to include the date of the upcoming concert to which you want Projekt Revolution tickets ("Desired Concert"). Concert dates and locations are available on the Site. In order for Entries to be valid, entrants must check the "I ACCEPT" box and click the "SUBMIT" link on the entry page. Entries must be submitted electronically during the Sweepstakes Period and received no later than 11:59:59 p.m. PST 7 days before the Desired Concert. For example, if your Desired Concert is September 5, your Entry must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. on August 29, 2004. No facsimiles allowed. Sponsor is not responsible for malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer hardware or software; for lost, late, illegible, stolen, damaged, incomplete or misdirected Entries; or for any other technical problems related to website entries. Limit one Entry per person, and/or email address. All Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. 2. ELIGIBILITY: One (1) winner will be selected for each Projekt Revolution tour concert date starting with the July 23, 2004 concert in a random drawing from all eligible Entries received that indicate that particular Desired Concert on the Entry. Winners for each Desired Concert will be selected on or about 7 days prior to the Desired Concert. There will be a total of 32 drawings. Drawings will be conducted by Linkin Park or its designee, the judge of the sweepstakes whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by email and/or certified or overnight mail. If selected winner is not available within 48 hours of first attempt by sponsor to contact winner or is not available to accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Potential winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability and publicity release which must be received by Sponsor within 4 days of the date on the notification, or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. If any winner is 13 or older, as required, but a minor in his or her state of residence, the winner's parent or legal guardian must sign all required documents. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in the prize being forfeited and an alternate winner selected. 3. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received for the particular Desired Concert. Many will enter. Few will win. Each winner is responsible for transportation, meals, gratuities, and all other expenses not mentioned in these Official Rules and all federal, state and local taxes applicable to the acceptance and use of his/her prize. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All claimed prizes will be awarded. No prize substitutions or cash equivalents, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If prize becomes unavailable or cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to provide a cash payment or substitute a prize of comparable value. Prizes are non-transferable. Limit of one prize per person, household or address. 5. GENERAL: By entering, entrants agree to: (a) release the Sponsor and its agents from all liability, injuries, loss and/or damage of any kind arising from their participation in the sweepstakes and the acceptance, possession and use/misuse of any prize; (b) agree to be bound by the Official Rules, Sponsor's Privacy Policy and the decisions of the judges; and (c) give his or her express permission to be contacted by Sponsor by email, mail or phone. By submitting an Entry, entrant consents to the use of his/her name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation in all media worldwide, now known or hereafter developed (except if winner is a resident of TN or where otherwise prohibited by law). All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. If for any reason the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error, terrorism or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the sweepstakes and to select the winners based on the Entries received prior to the cancellation or termination. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered. Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and all claims must be resolved in the United States. 6.
